Grand Prize

  • Grand prize will be awarded to one performer among the First-Place winners performing at Shalin Liu Performance Center, Rockport Music [Massachusetts] on September 21, 2024.

  • Performance opportunity at Lincoln Center [New York City] on October 26, 2024.

  • The Grand Prize winner will receive a prize of $500 from our generous sponsor.

Best Performance Award

  • Best Performance Award will be awarded among the First-place winners in Each Division in both live concerts and virtual concerts.

  • Best Performance Award winners chosen in Shalin Liu Performance Center; Rockport Music on September 21, 2024, will receive a prize of $250 in Each Division. Best performance Award winners chosen in the Virtual Winners Concert will receive a prize of $100 in Each Division.

  • Winners’ Certificate

First, Second Place winners will have the opportunity to choose between a Live Performance or a Virtual Winners Concert. Third Place will also be featured in the Virtual Winners Concert. All winners will each receive a Winner’s Certificate by email (excluding the winners performing LIVE, the certificate will be given at the end of the concert) 

  • The winners who choose to perform at the Shalin Liu Performance Center, Rockport Music on September 21, 2024, are required to pay the concert fee of $160. The concert fee will include 4 guest tickets. Winners who choose to perform on Virtual Winners Concert are required to pay online concert fee of $50.

  • The concert opportunity at the Shalin Liu Performance Center, Rockport Music on September 21, 2024, will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • The performer will play one piece/movement, and the duration of the performance must not be more than 6 minutes.

  • A Virtual Online Winners’ Concert featuring the First, Second, and Third place winners (excluding the winners performing at Shalin Liu Performance Center at Rockport Music) will be uploaded on YouTube.

Miclot International Music Competition is a non-profit organization operating exclusively for educational purposes. Students who have participated in the Miclot International Music Competition for five (5) years may qualify for a Letter of Recommendation for college or university applications. These letters from the competition are accepted at various colleges and universities across the US.
